Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Mona the Cat needs a home

Mona is cuddly one eyed cat, who when in the mood for it loves to play with her feather wand toy but mostly enjoys snuggling up to you and watching TV. She is fifteen years old so is looking for a quiet retirement home. She loves people and will always goes up to get pets from them (even new people). When she feels comfortable she will turn into a complete lap kitty and will sleep flopped over on your lap snoring and purring away. She loves her shoulders getting pets but doesn't enjoy anyone touching her tummy. She uses has no problems using the litter box.

A usual day for Mona is spent laying in the sun on her foster mom's bed (she's especially happy when the heating blanket gets turned out). After dinner time she sometimes wants to play and if you're not free to play she'll chase her tail.

Mona can see very well out of her remaining eye, though is a bit clumsy at times. She did need to have minor surgery on her eye to keep her eye lashes out of her eye which she may need again.

Mona does have kidney disease and requires special vet food but she isn't a picky eater and will eat anything so she doesn't mind her special food. She is also FIV+.

She would also prefer to be the only animal in the household, so she gets to soak up all the attention!
